England manager Gareth Southgate anticipates a”entirely different challenge” out of Kosovo to one his side faced against Bulgaria on Saturday.
England host Kosovo at Euro 2020 qualifying at Southampton’s St Mary having defeated on Bulgaria 4-0.
“It will be a really different type of game,” said Southgate.
“Kosovo will probably be very high pressing, hard working, a more attacking danger than we confronted on Saturday. Maybe there will be more space to perform up front.”
He added:”All we heard from Saturday’s match this is a very different challenge.”
England have won three matches in Group A while a point sits behind in second place – on eight points – the only unbeaten team.
Kosovo director can extend their unbeaten run to 16 games on his side’s first meeting against England.
Accepted as a member of Uefa and Fifa in 2016, Kosovo haven’t lost in almost two years – a run of 15 games.
“We’re Kosovo and we are talking contrary to one of the best teams in the Earth, in my view – the best team on the planet,” Challandes mentioned.
“I think that it is in my philosophy that if we do not dream it’s unnecessary to perform such games, we should dream and do everything that is possible to upset England.
“For me as a trainer it’s not easy to have a great mixture for the test of this particular game.
“If I say’we come to win’, I feel a lot of individuals believe that is pretentious; if I say’it is not feasible to win England’, I must alter my occupation.
“It is clear for me it is going to be a very, very hard game but it’s a possibility for our very young team to demonstrate what is really a very, very large level.”
Southgate can create changes, although england have no fresh accidents.
“We might freshen the team somewhat, that’ll be significant,” he explained. “We do not need to, everyone is fit and available. We will need to make certain that we get the balance right.
“We will need to get the right attacking and defending profiles to make sure that we win the match.”
Southgate did confirm that captain Harry Kane will start after scoring a hat-trick from Bulgaria to proceed to 25 targets for his nation, one before World Cup winner Geoff Hurst.
