Henrikh Mkhitaryan says unhappiness led to his loan move away from Arsenal

Henrikh Mkhitaryan says that he needed to abandon Arsenal to”enjoy playing soccer “, as he combined Roma on loan .
He scored just eight goals in 39 league games, and joined the Gunners in Manchester United at 2018.
The Armenian, who scored just two goals on Sunday in his nation’s European Qualifier win over Bosnia, felt he needed to leave England into re-find his passion for soccer.
He explained:”I must enjoy playing football, whatever the place. Back in England, I felt happy.
“I’ve got a call from my broker and I wanted to come, because it was a great opportunity for me personally. I didn’t even have a conversation with my broker about cash.
“Perhaps I wasn’t fitting so well in British football, so I feel that a change was great.”
The winger signed for Manchester United before joining Arsenal at a swap deal with all Alexis Sanchez who has made the change joining Inter Milan on loan.
Mkhitaryan says that he wants to focus on his new challenge in Italy.
He said:”The previous month at Arsenal I wasn’t happy, so that is why I said it was better to come to Roma and to acquire happy and to get the pleasure from playing football .
“Now I’m in Rome and that I concentrate on these. As great soccer is played here, this is not a step backwards. I wanted to change scenery and for me it is an opportunity to be defeated.”
