Vikings, Kyle Rudolph agree to terms on 4-year deal

On the eve of training camp, the Vikings and the tight end have agreed to terms on a four-year, $36 million expansion, NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reported, a source informed.
“I am honored beyond words to state that my house, our home will always be in Minnesota,” that the 29-year-old submitted on Twitter.Rudolph supported weeks ago the team gave him a five-year contract expansion and that both sides were working to solve the situation.
The contract extension retains him in Minnesota to assist tutor Irv Smith, who the team drafted in the second round of this draft.
